In January of this year, over 800 business executives, decision makers, and young professionals attended San FraNOLA to learn about the extraordinary New Orleans renaissance and all of the opportunity it offers.
Bay Area entrepreneurs and digital media professionals are invited to join us for the next San FraNOLA event on June 26th at Public Works. Experience the music of DJ Brice Nice and the Lagniappe Brass Band, alongside complimentary Louisiana jambalaya, and receive a brief presentation on the rise in entrepreneurial and digital media activity in Southeast Louisiana. Additionally, you'll learn about opportunities to participate in attractive business incentive programs and connect with like-minded individuals in these industries.

San Francisco and New Orleans are bound by a love of music, art, food, architecture, and culture.
San FraNOLA is a celebration of the commonalities, connections, and culture of New Orleans and San Francisco. This program is a chance to hear about the rebirth of one of the great American cities.
Our aim is to build a bridge of opportunity between the cities and establish business and industry relationships with New Orleans bringing along our own talented musicians, artists and entrepreneurs when we host these events.
The Music:
Lagniappe Brass Band is an established brass band in New Orleans,Louisiana dedicated to bringing out the funkiest brass music to the dancing masses. We based our name on the French term, “Lagniappe” which is defined as “something given or obtained gratuitously or by way of good measure.” Mark Twain writes about the word as “a word worth traveling to New Orleans to get.” The Lagniappe Brass Band is here to give you the best brass music – and a little extra.
